Wow… What a week! I am so happy that the pictures I found and shared from my years at Alaïa have been so appreciated. I am very grateful for the kind messages I received. I am still scanning more, much more, and will definitely think about what to do next.

Meanwhile, the glorious Beijing Fall is in full swing. It is still warmish, and when it’s not polluted it is amazing, the air is crisp but lovely. Autumn here is short –  a few weeks really but amazing.  So, of course I took to the street and right before we all wrap ourselves in layers upon layers to fight off the brutal Beijing winter I went searching for the most stylish Belles du Jour.  And I was lucky enough to find a nest in Sanlitun –  where else?

Then there was the catwalk presentation of the Beijing based designer Rechenberg in the über-amazing Eclat hotel in Park View Green.

Quelle semaine! Je suis infiniment touchée et reconnaissante des messages reçus ici ou sur Facebook à propos de mes « Années Alaïa ». Je suis encore en train de scanner et je vais réfléchir à ce que je vais en faire.

Mais… en attendant, nous sommes en automne et à Pékin il est magnifique.  C’est probablement la plus belle saison. L’air est frais (quand il n’est pas sur-pollué comme depuis quelques jours), et avant que nous  disparaissions tous sous les couches et les couches nécessaires pour lutter contre le grand froid qui arrive dans quelques semaines, les Belles du Jour se  promènent  et moi je photographie celles que je préfère.

Certaines sont dans Sanlitun, j’ai eu la chance de croiser un groupe de mannequins devant Armani, d’autres étaient au défilé de la créatrice Allemande basée à Pékin Rechenberg qui présentait sa collection dans le sublime hôtel Eclat.
